Built for people who build
Home Hacks DIY started with a simple observation: most DIY advice is either a 40-minute video that could have been a paragraph, or a project so ambitious it needs a contractor's license. We wanted something in between — one honest, doable project a day, written for real homeowners with real weekends.
One project a day
Every morning we feature a single project — with the full materials list, tools, step-by-step instructions, and honest ratings for difficulty, time, and cost. No endless scrolling required.
Honest about difficulty
If a project needs a table saw, we say so. If the "one-hour fix" actually takes three, we say that too. Our difficulty and cost ratings assume a normal homeowner's toolbox, not a professional shop.
Safety first, always
Every guide flags the moments where you should stop and call a professional — especially around electrical, gas, and structural work. Knowing your limits is a DIY skill too.
